When you think of hypnotherapy, then you will likely have an image come to mind straight out of Holly-wood, where the client lays on a sofa, and the therapist swings a watch before their eyes and causing the client to tell them their life story. There is nothing further from the truth. Hypnotherapy is a developmental discipline which is based on influencing the subconscious via suggestion. It is done so that the individual being placed under hypnosis become more in tune with themselves, gain control over negative emotions, and achieve the mental capacity to make better use of their full potential.

Hypnotherapy is one of the short-
term (taking a/ew sessions) therapy
approaches, where a hypnotic trance
is utilized. As the creators of the
project explain, this allows for quick
access to our subconscious mind in
order to process experiences and
emotions which are difficult to gain
access to via the conscious mind.

It is clone so that the individual being placed under hypnosis become more in tune with themselves, gain control over negative emotions, and achieve the mental capacity to make better use of their full potentia!. As in Poland in recent years psychotherapy was held in high esteem, hypnotherapy was hidden deep within its shadow. Perhaps because society was not fully aware of it and in great part associated it with esoteric and new age currents. Meanwhile, hypnotherapy is a very efficient form of influencing emotions, convictions and the entire way of an individual perceiving the world, which transfers to our actions and achieved results.

In recent months and years have resulted in a noticeable increase in recognizing hypnosis and hypnotherapy as an approach, which leads to the fact that many clients seek support from hypnotherapists, and therefore there is an increased demand for well-educated hypnotherapists in Poland.

“Thus far individuals interested in learning this form of therapy could simply take a certification course lasting a few days, which covered a few chosen topics. We approach this subject in a comprehensive manner and created a year long educational program based on a typical college course, where we learn not only of the tools of the hypnotherapist, but also complex approaches to hypnotherapy, how a hypnotherapy office should be organized, or even how to brand yourself as a hypnotherapist on the market.” – tells us Arthur Makieła, one of the founders of the hypnotherapy school.

“Our mission is to demystify the hypnotherapy branch in Po-land, transforming knowledge and tools into practice. Each of us is a practicing therapist with their own successful office. We wish to help those passionate about hypnosis to do the same.” – adds Peter Matejuk, whose idea the school was.

Besides hypnotherapists, there are to be many specialists from other branches who make hypnotherapy whole; physiotherapists, specialists from breathing exercises, and sports psychologists. The Professional School of Hypnotherapy, as it is called, is directed to the many careers connected to the widely understood concept of self-development, such as; hypnotherapists, psychotherapists, physiotherapists, coaches, trainers, and managers looking for new areas to work with, or even psychology students.

How did this idea come about?

“Each of us, while creating our brand and during our own studies has gone through tens and hundreds of courses. Then we needed to put it all together ourselves. Therefore, we decided to give people a comprehensive course on the subject. They no longer need to go to multiple training seminars. It is all in one place.” – Arthur and Peter voluntarily tell us about the idea.
“When looking from the outside, each of us has their own practice, and all are in competition. But we don’t believe in the myth of competition, but truły believe in synergy, so we decided to join forces and give our clients and students a double dose of knowledge and experience.”

Our mission is simple. Most people who already have a prac-tice or are just preparing to open one up is faced with similar problems. They must put all the pieces together. Getting the tools to do a job is one thing but turning that into practice and building a brand are completely different things. Because we already have clone these things, we want to help others who are at an earlier stage in this process. Our dreams are for the Polish School of Hypnotherapy became known on the world scale in a few years, and Poland to become the place where one can meet many great specialists from the field of hypnosis.

You must admit, that the collaboration between Peter and Arthur is an electrifying combination. Arthur Makieła is one of the most famous hypnosis experts in Poland. For years he runs a hypnotherapy practice and performs for audiences aro-und Poland with his scenic hypnosis. Arthur is also a speaker and teacher of public speaking, who has appeared five times at TEDx conferences. On the other hand, Peter Matejuk is a hypnotherapist and hypnotherapy teacher who has a doctorate from the Institute of Psychology of the Polish Science Academy.
