Suicide attempts, depression, being a skinhead or a drug dealer, and childhood; when buying  a new pair of boots for winter was subject to... Perseverance and acting without limitations

Suicide attempts, depression, being a skinhead or a drug dealer, and childhood; when buying  a new pair of boots for winter was subject to your mother taking out another loan… Perhaps you think these are fringe examples and this does not apply to you. Maybe, in your mind, a thought arose: “What do you, Daniel, know of life? If you only knew my story…”

All of us, from the moment we’re born into this world, receive a new lesson to be learned, each of these being VERY valuable! The only question is when will we notice? This value becomes most apparent when we accept the things, which life gives us. We don’t try to rebel against  it, or worse, become a victim of it (“why me?”). We take  it how it is, because at this very moment, that is the way it is supposed to be…You lost your job, you got defrauded again, ended a relationship, or got sick; all of these things are signs for you to recognize, and at the same time,  they are a test to see if you will repeat your mistakes.  Or perhaps you will change something? Will you choose to accept another job where they won’t appreciate you? Or perhaps you will open your mouth and say something to demand the respect. Will you again find yourself   in a loveless marriage or relationship? Or will you make sure that your expectations are known when going into the relationship? As one saying states, “Only the one who does nothing makes no mistakes.” Just take a moment and take a look at your life. Are you happy with what you have? Are you heading in the right direction? We come to our conclusions, but above all else, we look and think about WHAT it is that a given situation is trying to teach us. Is what I am agreeable with me? Are the decisions I am making in line with my values and with what I need? Life isn’t all about just thinking over past decisions and waiting for what we want.

Each of us gets ONLY and SO MUCH as 24 hours  in a day, so we utilize them to their full advantage. When  I recall, during my talks, with the participants of my lectures to the times when, each day, I started something new; each of these situations taught me perseverance. It is perseverance that causes us to get up in the morning and take the next steps toward our lofty goals. I recall a situation where I found myself among some of the TOP investors at a convention in the UK. Everyone at my table was discussing where they will invest their money, how many properties they own, etc. I sat there and listened, and felt as if more and more I was bent over my plate trying to concentrate on eating. Realizing this, I quickly straightened up in my chair and “corrected” my appearance. I gathered my wits about me, and sat there confidently with my shoulders straight. Shortly after, a question came my way; What do I do? Back then, I was a union rep, and at the same time, I had a lot of various contacts. I then got an offer from one of my TOP acquaintances at my table: would I like to be in real  estate management?

Can you imagine that I almost fell out my chair…Of course I accepted it, but as expected, there is more to the story.  I was to fly to, I do not even remember what country,  in order to meet with my “TOP acquaintance” for two hours, go over the details, and then come back. All fine and dandy, except what I was making didn’t even cover the cost of the flight…I decided to act. The next day, I dialled the number to „my Top”, as we were supposed to discuss when we were to meet, but nobody answered. The next day, again silence. So with the next, and the next day…As you might expect, thoughts started coming into my mind, “Daniel, give it a rest! This guy has no time for you, he doesn’t even care about what is going on with you.” This lasted exactly 30 days! Day after day, I would pick up the phone, call this man, and nobody would answer. Utter silence. Up until the 30th day, when I heard a voice over the phone, “Daniel! You must be crazy to be calling me this much! I definitely see you as part of our team!” And so the next chapter of my life started, which enabled me to soar over many plateaus, gain experience and spread my wings. I would like to now emphasize that our perseverance is paramount in what we do and how we accomplish what we want. Without it, often we just keep running circles, or continually start new projects, which we never finish because, too often, we give up just too early – often enough just before the finish line. When you know that what you have planned agrees with you, “you feel it with your whole being”.
Believe me – there are no LIMITS. They may appear once in a while, but only in your head. Often enough that the voice sitting on our shoulder and talks, talks, talks, only because you let it. You know how to get rid of it? Imagine it as a funny voice like: “niak, niak, niak, niak! Scram!” (sweep him from your shoulder).

Take action and continue moving forward! Sometimes, once is enough; sometimes, it can take a few tries – but always exactly however many times you need to get rid of that self-doubt. Try it, and maybe this technique will also work for you. It is something I commonly demonstrate at my events and webinars. Your patience causes the things, which until now seemed impossible, starts taking shape. Strangely enough, you start to approach the place where you couldn’t get to just moments ago. Limitations  are ALL in our head. I don’t know if you have ever heard of such a thing as FireWalk Total Transformation – walking on fire in a very generalized way. It is one of my events, where participants try to convince each other that the things that are limiting them are entirely in their head. After all, when you are walking barefoot across burning red coals, and your feet… (sorry I can’t just give it all away), you start to believe  in all of this, but more importantly, freeing yourself from the chains that kept you from going on.

This event, during which you experience this lack of limits in the physical sense, brings out great changes in the lives of its participants. Of course, also when it comes to those individuals who start acting on what they wish to achieve as soon as they leave the event. More and more I am getting sick of people who waste my time and theirs in order to gain knowledge, and then shelf it. I give everything I have got during this event, and I expect the same from YOU! And with this same thing I teach you that you have a right to demand the same sort of engagement from people around you, you can’t be passive. Full engagement in business, in your personal life,  or even in marriage or relationships. The people who,  up until now, were afraid to call their customers  – start calling. Those who feared meeting with their customers face to face – start working with them.  Where there used to be financial problems, everything starts to function. You start to go through life being  happy to be in the HERE and NOW. This is a very potent technique, which seems obvious, but gives  you the chance to see, feel and hear more. Think about how would your life be, if you could experience more? How would these few moments influence your everyday drive and self-fulfillment? I guarantee you a lot will change for you. In my time,  there have been many adventures and many events, which had granted me a lot of experience. I didn’t give up, I fought for myself! I had an incredible wife and daughter for a number of years now. They are a huge drive for  me and my perseverance. Their love, support and smiles are everything for me. We face life everyday together  as a family, which is something beautiful, as it allows  us to get to know each other better every day. This is where my patience and awareness of what I, Daniel, want has brought me in life. What a marriage, what a woman, and what a family! Today, I have exactly what I wanted, and what brought me my perseverance.

So if you have plans, dreams or visions; and you know they agree with who you are, then go through life pursuing them to the fullest! Nobody can stop you!  I believe in you! Before I finish, I would like to give you  a final word, it is up to you if you will act on it. Most people approach achieving a goal or solving a problem with the assumption that it can be solved in a few simple steps. Imagine a tree: You get an axe, approach the tree,  and hit it with the axe 5 times. You leave because you failed to cut it down, you give up…Some time goes  by and you get a sign, so for the next five days you go  to this tree and hit it with the axe five times each day.  As you see, every day, you can see changes occurring  in the tree as it starts to lean. Try this in your own life,  do 5 things to accomplish your goal. For the next five days, do five things and see for yourself what will start to happen. Remember, results occur only when you start taking action, and the path begins with that first step
