Maison Anoufa is a French brand of luxurious clothing created in 1939 by the Anoufa family. Currently it’s in the hands of Ylana Anoufa and his Polish wife, Anna Neneman. The brand has a luxurious, family image and creates original, elegant clothing in a black and white colour scheme.

Periodically, Maison Anoufa shows their collections at renowned events, like the Cannes Film Festival or the Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week. On 26 January 2016, a fashion show dedicated to the “RENAISSANCE” collection was held in Paris, marking the 11th time it was on display. Kenzo Takada, a world-renowned designer, is the curator of the brand. Maison Anoufa received a Harvard diploma for the best luxurious brand.
Furthermore, Maison Anoufa has showrooms in Paris and Warsaw. In October 2015 they opened an original boutique in the Polish capital, located in the Modo Fashion House. Maison Anoufa creations are worn by Paris Hilton, Kendall Jenner and Polish celebrities, like Doda, Jessica Mercedes or Aneta Kręglicka, to name a few.
Soon, Maison Anoufa plans to open boutiques in Paris, London and New York.

MAISON ANOUFA COUTURE Spring-summer 2016

Black and white are the main colours of the collection. Silver and electric blue show up sporadically, they play second fiddle, underline the power of the black and white composition. Two different, colourful worlds intertwine to become one, characterized by refinement and exclusiveness. The fashion creations from this collection radiate aesthetic might, but skilful use of embroidery, hand-grafted with Swarovsky crystals, and bold cuts highlighting the figure, ensure the end-product is still feminine and subtle.
The collection is full of contrasts. Subtle silks naturally merge with leather. Flowers are an important element, highlighting the gentleness of the feminine nature. Framed in geometric shapes, they allow the Maison Anoufa woman to appear strong and independent. Clearly emphasized shoulders, hidden in jackets and coats, do not take away the lightness and beauty of the figure. The “anouf embroidery” is what draws the eye: a metal string akin to an architectural marvel that highlights the character traits of the modern woman, ready to fight as a warrior safeguarding gracefulness and impeccability. The brand designer, Ylan Anoufa, creates an image of a woman who is not afraid of challenges and changes, a woman conscious of her beauty and stature. That self-confidence lends her a sense of perfection.
